Textures of Tapeley Park

I visited Tapeley Park in North Devon recently after hearing about it (of all places) on an episode of Come Dine with Me.  One of the contestants in this particular episode was the owner of Tapeley Park, and as I watched the programme I realised that I had driven past the signs for the house on numerous occasion, but had never actually been to see it.  So as the episode ended I made a note to visit, the next time I was at home in Devon.

IMG_3257Tapeley Park is a great place to visit, it has wonderful nooks and crannies and overgrown corners.  The walk to the lake is steep but worth if for the feeling of being away from it all, in a personal paradise.
